Flexi Role – Warehouse / Service Team (Bracknell)

Purpose of the Role/ Role Overview:

To facilitate the smooth running of the business in relation to the fulfilment and delivery of orders.

This is a flexi role which will see you split your time between multiple areas of the business. Primarily the Warehouse Team who manage and maintain stock, and the Service Team who carry out the deliveries, collections and maintenance of our products at customer’s properties across the country.

You will be required to work closely with colleagues and demonstrate a can-do attitude which supports others in their role. You will also need to follow instructions, processes, and procedures.

Shift flexibility, occasional overtime and overnight stays away will be required to support areas at particularly busy periods.

Key Duties / Key Responsibilities:

  • General housekeeping and assist in the cleaning of returned stock
  • General duties and ad/hoc tasks within the factory – to assist with holiday/ sickness cover.
  • Help maintain stock levels and carrying out test and maintenance on returned stock.
  • Nationwide delivery, and collection of kitchen and bathroom products, carried out right first time, in a timely manner.
  • Construction, and decommission of modular products, carried out right first time, in a timely manner.
  • Carry out general maintenance and repairs on product set whilst at the customer’s property
  • Follow processes and procedures as outlined by the business:
    • Highway code and tachograph rules
    • Data protection, social media and internet usage
  • Look for opportunities to improve the product, quality, efficiency through your role
  • Act as an ambassador for the business at all times when driving a company vehicle and wearing company uniform.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Forklift licence / experience preferable
  • Knowledge of H&S procedures highlighting potential issues swiftly.
  • Ability to communicate with management and raise issues prior to delays and failure.
  • Communicate any product issues in a timely manner to the relevant departments.
  • Clean UK driving license.
  • Towing experience desirable.
