The works were to install a new specialist bath (after the previous had broke down) and refurbishment to the bathroom, which was a challenge as the house was terraced and the staircase was very narrow.
The project required a new specialist bath to be ordered urgently, however the lead-time can often take up to 6 weeks.
Requirement
Temporary bathroom with level access entry, shower seat, grab rails and sufficient changing space for the duration of the project, enabling the tenants to remain at home.
Temporary Bathroom Hire
4th October 2023: Temporary Solutions Group were contacted by First Choice Housing Association for a quote to supply temporary bathroom facilities with level access entry, shower seat, grab rails and sufficient changing space at a mid-terraced property in Cardiff. Temporary Solutions Group responded the same day.
5th October 2023: First Choice Housing Association raised a work order to proceed with the hire of the temporary bathroom. Temporary Solutions Group assessed the property remotely and contacted the property to schedule a date for delivery and installation.
9th October 2023: Temporary Solutions Group installed and commissioned a 3m x 3m Accessible Modular Bathroom on the rear patio of the property for the duration of the works.
10th October 2023: An additional grabrail was requested and installed 1 day later.
17th January 2024: Temporary Solutions Group were advised that the project had been completed and the temporary bathroom facilities were no longer required from 19th January.
19th January 2024: The temporary facilities were off hired, and collection was scheduled for Monday 29th January.
