Customer Circumstance
A Welsh Housing Association approached Temporary Solutions Group (TSG) as they needed help to provide kitchen and bathroom facilities for their vulnerable and disabled tenants while their properties were undergoing a renovation and maintenance project.
Facilities would be out of service for extended periods and the housing association desired high-quality products that would allow tenants to continue their daily activities with minimal disruption.
The only other option available would be to decant tenants into other types of accommodation and in the past, this had proved difficult, due to the lack of suitable housing stock.
It had also proved a costly option when available and had delayed work taking place.
TSG Solution
TSG worked closely with the association to ensure that the facilities were customised to meet the specific needs of the tenants, including wet room with hoists, ramps access and larger kitchen areas to accommodate multiple tenants.
TSG also provided onsite support throughout the duration of the project to ensure that the temporary facilities continued to operate smoothly.
Feedback from the Housing Association was overwhelmingly positive, with them expressing their gratitude for the quality and convenience of the temporary facilities as well as the speed at which we were able to deliver and install the different type of products.
TSG’s involvement helped ensure that the transition was smooth and successful for everyone involved, resulting in a positive outcome for the housing association and its tenants.
