Customer Circumstances
A fire in a neighbouring farm spread to Mr Ronson’s annex destroying the entire roof and most of the interior. Mr Ronson’s belongings were smoke damaged and the room they were stored in required a full repair. The main house was mostly unaffected and therefore the customer was able to remain at home during the repair works. Mr Ronson did however, require a solution to clean and store his contents throughout the repair.
TSG Solution
TSG were asked to provide the customer with 8m x 2m secure storage facilities. The Storage Pod was built on site at the rear of the property on a gravelled area and commissioned within 3 hours of delivery. Delivery was coordinated to coincide with the removal and cleaning of Mr Ronson’s fire damaged belongings from the annex; ensuring there were no delays to the rest of the teams involved in the cleaning and rebuilding work. The pods weather tight structure, climate and humidity control safeguarded against any further damage to Mr Ronson’s belongings which were accessible throughout the hire. The Storage Pod was on hire for 22 days, saving the insurance company costly removal and storage fees.
